Red Dawn Movie in 2010

A remake of Red Dawn, the cult 1980 movie, is under development. The film movie is directed by Dan Bradley and is starring Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck, Adrianne Palicki, Josh Hutcherson, Isabel Lucas, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Will Yun Lee. The plot of this remake of Red Dawn has been updated: the commies aren't Russian, but Chinese!

Plot:
"A group of teenagers look to save their town from an invasion of Chinese and Russian soldiers."

Good that they updated the plot of Red Dawn, and it does make sense when you think about the increasing economic tensions between China and the USA over the last two decades. But let's pray for both countries to stay in peace: a war between China and the USA would doom the world!

Red Dawn Trailer of the original movie

The original Red Dawn movie was directed by John Milius and starring Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, Lea Thompson, and Jennifer Grey. The film was released in 1984. The story was revolving around a group of young American resistant determined to fight against the Russian communist invasion.

A quite patriotic movie! But I'm sure that if a crazy country would attempt to invade the USA, it's not just a group of youngsters that would resist, but the whole country would unite to stand up against the threat, and to protect the American Dream!
